About Us

Impact Ministries was originally called Pure Word and Worship. The Ministry was birthed through Pastors Phil & Lorraine Reuben. The Church began in 1994 in their lounge room in Robina, Queensland, Australia. They were ordained through I.C.F.M shortly afterwards. Both originally from New Zealand, they are down to earth, honest and passionate about Jesus & His Church.

Our church has experienced various changes of venues and people, but solely by the Grace of God we spear headed & headed up our own building project. With vigour and full faith in God, we soon settled into our own debt free building on five acres of land in Gilston.  A most incredible, extremely satisfying experience to have been a part of – building a Church, a Place of Worship, His House. An experience every member associated will forever be proud of and thankful to God for.

We spent five wonderful years extending God’s Kingdom in this house, then God had another plan. Another journey for us to take with Him. This one we are currently on and look forward to an amazing future forward!  – And His House He entrusted us to build –  still goes on to further His Kingdom from generation to generation.

We have our original group of committed, dedicated and loyal people with an addition of others with like mind and like passion who have fled religion to find JESUS again.

We believe that it is Jesus who is building His church and we have entered that rest.
